We have a new 15 acre mountain top (ocean view) property that is need of help. Currently we have 15 horses here and one on the way, some egg-laying chickens and three dogs. We are offering, as a trial base, a small home (an addition is in need of finishing), free utilities and board in exchange for help at the ranch. This includes riding and grooming the horses, landscape & garden tending, fence mending and all around general labor. There is also a stable in need of finishing so any kind of masonry skills is a plus. Primarily, we need help with the horses, so experience is a must. This is a gorgeous place, average daily temp. is 75 degrees and with spring just around the corner, everything will be lush and vibrant. The overall goal is to become a self-sufficient (power, water, food), organic paradise. Many of the infrastructure is already in place. This is a non-paying situation for now, but with the right candidate this can lead to a long-term paid position with the opportunity to be involved in building another home on the property for future living.
