Immediate opening for someone who believes that ranching/farming is more than just a job. And is more than a career, it is a lifestyle. I am looking for a single mature, honest, hard-working individual to help take care of my ranch, livestock, on my beautiful mountain ranch located in the Rocky Mountains in Southern Colorado. I am in need of someone who is interested in helping me build a successful Raw Milk Dairy and Alpaca ranching operation. Position includes shared housing, water, electricity and phone and Internet access but no computer usage you must supply our own computer. This is a new and startup operation. Fencing and the construction of animal shelters would be the first priorities. If you were willing to put forth the hard work and time for this new endeavor I would be very willing to share some of the profits with you. All I can only offer you at the present time a rent-free living situation in exchange for 15 hours a week of part time work here at the ranch. You would be more than able too work part time elsewhere away from the ranch unless you are getting some monthly income elsewhere. It is my plan too be able to offer the right person a part time position with pay as soon the operations is producing enough profits. Job requirements: Feed and care for livestock (Alpacas, Llamas, goats, and Great Pyrenees livestock guard dogs on a daily basis. I am seeking someone who will sincerely care about the ranch and the welfare of the livestock. Clean Alpaca, Llama and goat pens, help vaccinate/worming of livestock, fence building/repair and water of trees here at the ranch when needed as well as anything else that is needed be done. Someone who is dedicated hard worker, self-starter as well as a self motivated and will do whatever is needed to get the job done right. Must live on ranch, and be available to work when the ranch needs tending, someone who cares about the ranch and livestock welfare. Must be at least 21, single have a valid license and reliable transportation, is reliable, strong, self-motivated, no alcohol, drug addictions, in good health, and be able to work alone.
