4 year old A. P. H. A mare for sale. Meeka just turned 4 in April and still has lots of growing to do both physically and mentally. She is finishing up 30 days of training with Steve Wright at Wright Ranch in Jackson, Ca. Due to the fact that I have had a total knee replacement, Steve and I feel that Meeka is just to much horse for me. She is learning very quickly and is responsive to her current training, but she needs a firm hand (and strong legs, which I will never have again.) to keep her focused. Meeka will make a wonderful trail horse, Western pleasure, or maybe even English. She is not spooky, has great ground manners and is a big beautiful girl. She has shown tremendous progress and possibilities in just the last 30 days of private training. Due to my disability, I cannot afford to continue with her training, and I just don't think it would be fair to her to keep her in a stall; she just has too much potential to be a great horse for the right person. I would like to find her a home as quickly as possible so her new owner can keep up with current training. I am asking $1000.00. I am willing to discuss payment options if necessary to get her into the right home.
