We have, we believe, the largest and most diverse fullblood Aubrac genetic bank in private ownership outside of France.

The bull pictured below is a coming four year old bull and has been living all winter long on 1-3 year old hay without supplementation of any kind. He is typical of the beefiness and hardiness and thriftiness of Aubrac cattle.

French Import bulls available ($30-500 / unit) --- Andalou, Armenien, Bayon II, Bill, Capitain, Dolby, Galant, Goeland, Harlem, Hector, Heros, Imperial, Impresario, Jaquot, Lioran, Louvet, Nemrod, Officier, Orfevre, Outsider, Remus, Renault, etc.

US Bred bulls available ($15-25 / unit) --- BC Benchmark, BC Double-O-Six "Bruce", Frumius, Hannigan, GRNT Maximus (nfs; inquire for details), GRNT Overlord, Xpeditor (nfs; inquire for details), MMR Zach, etc.

Fullblood embryos available via partnership only (via a pre-agreed to split of live calf crop).

For those who do not know, Aubrac cattle are a hardy, densely-made, maternal breed of cattle from south-central France. They are known for ease of calving (direct AND maternal) and easy-fleshing traits.

Our fullblood heifer calves born on our farm near Kansas City average 60-65 lbs (range of 55-70lbs) and our fullblood bull calves born on our farm average 70-75lbs (range of 60-85lbs).

We expect our mature fullblood bulls to range from 1500-2200 lbs on a frame score 3.5 to 5.5.

We expect our mature fullblood cows will range from 1100-1400 lbs on a frame score of 3.5 to 5.5.

We (and and cooperator herds) successfully crossed Aubrac genetics on everything from commercial black angus and sim-angus cows to commercial jersey dairy cows, and all sorts of types in between. We have even have a client cross them on his bison-hybrids for replacement females and his off-the-farm beef buyers.

We, however, prefer to run our fullbloods. We prefer the aesthetics, thriftiness, hardiness, and dining experience of our fullblood Aubracs.
